LONDON (Alliance News) - CityFibre Infrastructure Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a deal with Hull-based wireless broadband internet service provider Purebroadband to launch a service in the city.
Under the GBP0.5 million deal, CityFibre will replace the existing Purebroadband wireless backhaul network connecting 12 hubs around Hull in order to boost internet speed and network efficiency in the area.
"We're very excited by the opportunity of working with Purebroadband in Hull to enhance both the quality of service, affordability and accessibility of next generation connectivity solutions in the community. We are seeing increasing interest from Service Providers to accessing businesses and consumers in Hull," said CityFibre city sales head John Pulley.
Shares in CityFibre were up 0.4% to 68.75 pence on Tuesday.
