LONDON (Alliance News) - CityFibre Infrastructure Holdings PLC on Thursday said it has signed a deal with Triangle Networks Ltd, a Somerset-based business internet provider, as its launch partner for the assets it has acquired from Kcom Group PLC in Bristol.
In December, CityFibre bought Kcom's network infrastructure business, excluding Hull and East Yorkshire, for GBP90.0 million.
The Triangle agreement, conditional on the Kcom acquisition completing, which it is expected to do next week, will cover a minimum of 100 committed business broadband connections on the new assets in Bristol.
"We're delighted to welcome Triangle Networks to our growing ecosystem of service provider partners, which in turn allows us to announce that Bristol will be the first of many new Gigabit City launches to come on our expanded footprint of 36 cities across the UK," said Greg Mesch, CityFibre's chief executive.
CityFibre shares were down 5.3% to 58.25 pence on Thursday morning.
