LONDON (Alliance News) - CityFibre Infrastructure Holdings PLC Thursday said it has now deployed 20% of the 72 kilometres of ultra-fast fibre network that it's deploying in Kirklees.
Construction began in March and the first businesses and public sector sites in Huddersfield will be able to receive services over the gigabit speed fibre network from September. Construction of the infrastructure began in the town centre and will be extended across the town over the next 12 months, the company said.
Abzorb will be the first service provider to deliver services over the CORE network, it added.
CityFibre shares were down 1.6% at 62.50 pence Thursday morning.
