(Alliance News) - City Of London Investment Group PLC on Tuesday confirmed that Founder & Director Barry Olliff has retired from his executive role, effective immediately.
This follows his retirement from the board of City of London Investment Management Co Ltd on December 1.
Olliff will continue to serve as an advisor to the executive team for the next two years and will continue as a non-executive, non-independent director until the end of October 2020, City Of London Investment Group said.
Finance Director Tracy Rodrigues will take a leave of absence for family reasons, commencing March 31 next year. During her period of absence, the finance team will report directly to group chief executive Tom Griffith.
The finance investment firm also confirmed that Head of Business Development Carlos Yuste will join the board from the start of 2020. Yuste had previously served on the board as the business development director from the company's listing in 2006 through to 2015.
Shares in the City Of London Investment Group were trading 0.2% higher at 440.00 pence per share on Tuesday morning in London.
