City Natural Resources Delays Name Change Until Shareholder Approval

3rd Apr 2018 16:13

LONDON (Alliance News) - City Natural Resources High Yield Trust PLC said on Tuesday that it decided to postpone the company's name change until it would be approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting, to be held on November 18.

On March 12, the trust announced that it intended to change the name to CQS Natural Resources Growth & Income PLC with effect on April 3. The intent was that the new name would better represent its investment objective.

City Natural Resources Chairman Geoff Burns said: "We believe that there will be marketing benefits in adopting the Investment Manager's CQS brand, which is also used by the Investment Manager's high yield bond fund, CQS New City High Yield Fund Ltd."

The stock was trading 4.0% lower at 108.72 pence per share on Tuesday.
