Circle Oil Chairman Anderson Steps Down, Clayton Appointed Interim Chair

6th Sep 2013 13:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - Circle Oil PLC Friday said that Chairman Thomas Anderson has decided to step down from his position, effective immediately.

The international oil and gas exploration, development and production company said that Nicholas Clayton has been appointed as interim chairman.

"Since taking on the position of Chairman, the company has grown considerably, as has the workload required of its Board. I feel now is the right time to step down and allow a new Chairman to take the helm as Circle continues its development," Anderson said in a statement.

Circle Oil shares were down 0.62% or 0.12 pence mid afternoon Friday, trading at 20.00 pence per share.
