Christie Group raises guidance after "unexpectedly" strong December

19th Jan 2026 12:41

(Alliance News) - Christie Group PLC on Monday said it expects full-year results from continuing operations to be ahead of expectations following "uncharacteristically strong invoicing" in December.

The professional services provider forecast revenue from continuing operations for 2025 to exceed GBP70.0 million, up at least 18% from GBP59.2 million in 2024, with operating profit from those operations of more than GBP6.5 million, up 86% from GBP3.5 million.

Christie said the volume of transactions brokered in December was 40% higher than the average monthly volume achieved over the previous 11 months and included an "unexpectedly" strong level of invoicing after the last trading update in late December.

International agency and advisory operations delivered strong year-on-year income growth, the firm added.

"Our 2025 results better reflect the earnings potential of our continuing brands," said Chief Executive Dan Prickett.

Looking ahead, Christie said the Group has begun 2026 with "encouraging ongoing demand for its services and strong pipeline."

But it said the board remains "conservative" in its outlook for delivering further profit growth in 2026 while CEO Prickett expects economic conditions to remain challenging.

Shares in Christie Group rose 10% to 132.22 pence each in London on Monday.
