(Alliance News) - China Nonferrous Gold Ltd on Monday said its Pakrut gold mine in Tajikistan reached internal production targets for 2019.
The Pakrut project became fully operational in the first half of 2019.
The mineral exploration & mining company said that from January to December 2019, a total of 731,600 tonnes of ore was extracted. Some 690,300 tonnes of ore was processed, up from its original expectation of 660,000 tonnes, and 37,552 ounces of gold ingot were poured at an average grade of 99.97%.
Looking ahead, China Nonferrous said it intends to implement a plan to further improve production capacity and reduce costs.
The stock was trading 15% higher at 12.47 pence each at midday Monday in London.
