LONDON (Alliance News) - Chemicals company Croda International PLC said Friday that it has appointed Robert Cirillo and Jacqui Ferguson as non-executive directors.
Cirillo, who most recently was the chief executive of eye healthcare company Optegra, will join the board on April 26.
Ferguson, who has held many senior operating roles at Hewlett Packard, will join on September 1. She will succeed Senior Independent Director Nigel Turner, who will be retiring from the board on April 26.
The company said the new board appointment will strengthen the board's skills and experience in the areas of strategy, operations, international/emerging markets and digitalisation.
"Both appointments will be of enormous benefit to the Croda Board, supporting our strategic plans to connect more dynamically to customers through the use of technology and helping customers transition to more sustainable ingredients," Chairman Anita Frew said.
"All these changes to the Board are consistent with the board's approach to succession planning," Frew added.
Shares in the company were trading broadly unchanged at 4,569.00 pence Friday.
