(Alliance News) - Chelverton UK Dividend Trust PLC on Friday hiked its first interim dividend by 9.6% year-on-year.
Chelverton will pay a dividend of 2.40 pence per share, up from 2.19p last year.
The company said it is committed to paying an aggregate annual dividend of 9.60p in respect to its financial year ending April 30.
It plans to make three more payouts of 2.40p apiece, and added that the release of a special dividend will depend on its revenue during the year.
Shares in Chelverton were 3.7% higher at 165.92p each on Friday.
