Checkit Signs 3-Year Contract With John Lewis For Management Software

19th Oct 2020 11:59

(Alliance News) - Checkit PLC on Monday said certain subsidiaries have entered into a framework agreement with John Lewis PLC for the supply of connected workflow, asset monitoring and building management solutions for a period of three years.

The workflow management software provider said the agreement - which was effective from August 1 - provides all Waitrose and John Lewis shops with the opportunity to benefit from its Connected Workflow Management, Connected Automated Monitoring, and Connected Building Management services.

It noted that a key provision of the deal is a continuing innovation programme focused on the ongoing adoption of the Connected Workflow Management platform, which digitises the scheduling and reporting of operational workflows, with the aim of automating manual processes, increasing efficiency and providing management insight

Cambridge-based Checkit added that the Connected Workflow Management platform will provide operational key performance indicators that can be used to analyse performance and identify training needs, as well as generate automatic digital records for in-house and third-party quality inspections.

"At Checkit, we are devoted to empowering large and complex organisations in their journey to operational excellence. Checkit UK Ltd has worked with the John Lewis Partnership since 1993, and we are delighted to be continuing and developing that relationship going forward, with digital innovation at the heart of our new agreement," said Executive Chair Keith Daley.

Shares in Checkit were trading 8.4% higher at 47.70 pence each on Monday morning in London.
