LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal castings maker Chamberlin PLC said Thursday it has begun the search for a new finance chief after Finance Director David Roberts decided to resign on Wednesday.
Roberts - in post since 2013 - left the firm in order to "pursue another opportunity". Chamberlin emphasised an "orderly handover is planned" with Roberts remaining at the firm to help with the process of appointing a replacement.
"David has made a significant contribution to Chamberlin since he was appointed as Finance Director in 2013, and we wish him well in his new venture, which he will join following an orderly handover to his successor", Chairman Keith Butler-Wheelhouse said.
Shares in Chamberlin were 2.2% lower at 88.00 pence on Thursday.
