LONDON (Alliance News) - Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd said Wednesday that it has raised USD2.71 million via previously announced share placing.
The gold miner issued 6.9 million new ordinary shares at 30 pence per share in placing. Shares in the company were down 1.1% lower at 26.70 pence each in afternoon trade.
The share placing is in addition to the commitment to subscribe for USD10 million of convertible bonds which the company had already secured. The company expects to receive the subscription proceeds for the bonds by May 31.
