Ceres promotes Hargrove to tech head, creates innovation officer role

23rd Sep 2021 09:52

(Alliance News) - Ceres Power Holdings PLC on Thursday said it has promoted Caroline Hargrove to chief technology officer, effective October 25.

Hargrove has served on Ceres Power's PLC board as a non-executive director for three years, and will replace Mark Selby.

Selby, who has worked at Ceres for 15 years, is moving to the newly created position of chief innovation officer.

The Horsham-based company makes fuel cell and electrochemical technology.

"[Hargrove] brings unique skills and experience in leading digitalisation and managing high growth technology teams which will be invaluable for the next chapter of Ceres' development," said Chief Executive Phil Caldwell.

"Mark has led tirelessly on all aspects of the strategy and delivery of Ceres' SteelCell technology development. This new role will leverage his considerable knowledge while providing the opportunity for him to focus on establishing future innovative technology."

Shares were up 3.9% at 1,178.25 pence in London on Thursday morning.
