LONDON (Alliance News) - Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd Friday said it reached a milestone for its BlueGEN small-scale electricity generator, both on the number installed and the accumulated operating hours.
Ceramic said its service partner, Eneco Holding NV, has commissioned a BlueGEN unit in the Netherlands, making it the 500th unit installed. Earlier in the month the BlueGEN fleet passed 5 million accumulated operating hours.
Ceramic said the new unit installed is one of 45 BlueGEN systems sold as part of the first phase of a virtual power plant project on Ameland island in the Netherlands.
Ceramic Fuel Cells shares were untraded early Friday, quoted at 0.605 pence.
