(Alliance News) - Centrica PLC on Friday said Chair Scott Wheway bought shares in the company on Wednesday, adding that Chief Executive Christopher O'Shea along with an associate also bought shares.
The FTSE 250-listed energy supplier said Wheway bought 100,000 shares at GBP0.48799 each for a total of GBP48,799.
It added that O'Shea bought a total of 60,850 shares over two transactions at an average price of GBP0.484 each, paying GBP29,426. An associate Stacey O'Shea bought 39,150 shares at GBP0.4742 each for a total of GBP18,564.
Shares in Centrica closed 2.0% lower at 46.63 each on Friday in London.
