LONDON (Alliance News) - Centaur Media PLC on Tuesday said it entered into a conditional agreement to sell its HR business to DVV Media International Ltd for GBP5 million in cash.
Centaur Media's HR unit, is part of its professional services division and includes the Employee Benefits brand. Completion of the disposal is expected to take place on April 30.
The unit generates most of its revenues from events that include Employee Benefits Live, Employee Benefits Connect and the Forum for Expatriate Management.
The sale of the HR business, is part of Centaur's strategy to simplify the company. It follows the recent disposals of Centaur's financial services business and travel and meetings exhibitions unit, which will raise a total of GBP14.3 million.
Centaur will consider the best use of the sale proceeds once the review of the business, launched in October, is completed.
Centaur shares were untraded at 50.50 pence each.
