CDialogues Doubles Profit And Revenue As Mobile Subscriber Base Grows

15th Sep 2014 11:08

LONDON (Alliance News) - CDialogues PLC Monday said both its pretax profit and revenue doubled in the first half of the year, driven by a significant increase in its mobile subscriber base and supported by lower finance costs.

The mobile marketing company posted a pretax profit of EUR1.3 million for the six months to June 30, up from EUR612,453 in the first half of 2013, as revenue rose to EUR4.1 million from EUR2.0 million the prior year, 79% of which came from subscription revenue.

Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer George Karakovounis said in a statement that recent campaign launches have continued to diversify the company's revenue sources, adding: "We look forward to building on the profitable performance achieved in the first half of the year."

The company listed on AIM at the end of June, in hopes of driving the business forward as it continued to develop its offering and client base both in terms of numbers and geography.

CDialogues now operates large-scale mobile marketing campaigns for six mobile network operators, addressing a total subscriber base of 31 million customers, in three countries across the Middle East, up from only 15 million last year.

"We are confident that our solutions and subscription-based revenue model will underpin further profitable growth, enabling us to achieve full-year targets. We are continuing to intensify our efforts to add more campaigns and further strengthen our position in the market by entering new territories with strong partnerships. Our existing campaigns continue to operate successfully and are regularly renewed and/or extended," said Chief Executive Officer Pale Spanos in the company's tatement.

Shares in CDialogues were trading 3.7% higher Monday midday, at 274.90 pence per share.
