Catenai shares fall as investee Alludium joins AWS, Atlassian schemes

9th Jun 2025 11:25

(Alliance News) - Catenai PLC on Monday said portfolio company Alludium Ltd has been accepted into two startup accelerator programmes run by Amazon.com Inc's Amazon Web Services and Atlassian Corp, giving it enhanced access to infrastructure and productivity tools as it develops its AI platform.

The London-based digital media and technology company, which holds an 8.3% stake in Alludium, said Alludium's entry into the AWS Activate and Atlassian for Startups programmes follows its recent acceptance into the Nvidia Corp's Inception programme, which supports AI startups.

Shares in Catenai, however, were down 10% at 0.36 pence in London on Monday morning.

Alludium is a software company which has developed a multi-agent artificial general intelligence platform for AI automation of processes and solutions for productivity.

Alludium's Chief Executive Officer John Frizelle said its participation in AWS Activate will ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure as it expands its AI agent platform. The scheme also offers access to new services and guidance for architecting AI workloads.

Meanwhile, the Atlassian programme offers a full suite of productivity and collaboration tools used widely by developers. Catenai said Alludium's inclusion will help integrate its AI tools more deeply into software development workflows.

Frizelle, who has a long-standing relationship with AWS through previous roles as an engineer, founder and investor, said: "Partnerships and working relationships are critical to what we're building at Alludium. It's great to be back working with [AWS] at a startup engineering level."

Atlassian, he added, "is the backbone of many AI developer operations" and will allow Alludium's AI agents to operate more natively in key work environments.
