LONDON (Alliance News) - Catalyst Media Group PLC said Monday that Satellite Information Services (Holdings) Ltd, in which it has a 20.5% interest, has agreed a five year extension for its deal for Irish horse racing distribution rights.
The deal between Satellite Information Services, Horse Racing Ireland the Association of Irish Racecourses, covers the distribution rights for live pictures and data from Irish horse racing to licensed betting offices across the UK, Ireland and internationally, along with additional digital and direct to home rights through to 2023.
"This agreement not only provides continuity but also enhances SIS's offering to its customers. It ensures that retail bookmakers across the UK and Ireland, and now internationally, will have access to Irish horseracing as part of a comprehensive package of content to support their over-the-counter sports betting businesses for many years to come," said Chief Executive of SIS Gary Smith in a statement.
Shares in Catalyst were untraded Monday morning. They last closed at 61.00 pence.
