Castleton Wins GBP5.6 Million In Software, Managed Services Deals

15th Mar 2016 08:33

LONDON (Alliance News) - Castleton Technology PLC on Tuesday said it has secured GBP5.6 million in new and extended contracts from its social housing sector clients.

Castleton said its software arm has won a GBP1.6 million, four-year contract for its repairs services, which will be delivered by three contractors, none of which were named.

In addition, it has signed further contracts in the software unit for the provision of its Opus Service Charge service. These services are worth GBP350,000 over three years and have been signed with Orbit Housing Group, The Regenda Group, Richmond Housing Partnership and Forviva Group.

Castleton added its Managed Services unit has signed a number of three to five-year contracts, including its largest full-managed hosted desktop and infrastructure contract to date. In addition to further extensions signed by the managed services team, the division has won new contracts and extensions worth GBP3.6 million.

"Following a very busy period of acquisitions which have created a unique set of complementary services in our chosen sector, I am really pleased to see sales momentum coming through," said Castleton Chief Executive Ian Smith.

Castleton shares were up 0.7% to 82.6 pence.
