LONDON (Alliance News) - Iron castings and machining group Castings PLC on Tuesday said its sales volumes have continued to increase, and it looks set to post improved profit for the full year.
In a statement for delivery to the company's annual general meeting, Castings said sales volumes have continued to improve in the business in the first months of its current financial year, which started April 1, with particular strength in commercial vehicles.
"We see no change in the foreseeable future and provided there is no adverse economic and world news it is expected profits will improve on last year's level," Chairman Brian Cooke said.
Shares in Castings were up 3.4% to 449.9758 pence on Tuesday.
