(Alliance News) - Carnival PLC on Tuesday said its German subsidiary AIDA Cruises will open its 2021 cruise season starting March 20 with AIDAperla sailing around the Canary Islands.
The British-American cruise operator added that AIDA has also announced that all trips originally planned from March 6 up to and including March 19 are unable to take place due to the German federal government extending the lockdown to contain the pandemic.
Carnival shares were trading 1.9% lower in London on Tuesday at 1,337.50 pence each.
