Carillion Wins Services Deal In Canada Worth Over GBP100 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction and support services company Carillion PLC on Thursday said it has secured a slew of contracts in the Canadian market worth more than GBP100.0 million.

Carillion said it and subsidiary Bouchier Group won support services deals from a number of oil industry customers, including Royal Dutch Shell PLC and Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. It has also won a hard facilities management deal with the Canadian Department of National Defence.

The contracts are expected to be worth over GBP100.0 million to Carillion over five years.

"We are delighted to have secured further support services contracts for long-term customers," said Carillion Chief Executive Richard Howson.

Carillion shares were down 0.2% to 302.87 pence on Thursday morning.
