LONDON (Alliance News) - Residential care company CareTech Holdings PLC on Monday said it appointed Gareth Dufton as interim finance director after reporting the sudden death of Michael Hill.
Hill, formerly the firm's finance director, died on Sunday.
"On behalf of the entire CareTech family I extend our sincerest condolences to Michael's family at this very sad and tragic loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Molly, and his family and may his soul rest in eternal peace," Executive Chairman Farouq Sheikh said.
Dufton has been with the company since 2000 in a variety of senior executive and financial roles, CareTech explained.
CareTech shares closed up 0.1% at 345.49 pence each on Monday.
