LONDON (Alliance News) - Carclo PLC saw its shares rise Thursday after its US partner Atmel Corp said revenue from Atmel's XSense touchscreen sensors rose in the second quarter, both against the first quarter and year-on-year.
Carclo's Conductive Inkjet Technology is being used in the XSense products. Atmel said sales of the sensors rose in the quarter and said customer interest in the products remains strong.
Carclo also said coated film sales through its Conductive Inkjet Technology arm are in line with expectations for the financial year.
Carclo shares were up 14% to 132.50 pence early Thursday, putting it second amongst FTSE All-Share risers.
