(Alliance News) - Carclo PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Paul Below as finance director designate to replace outgoing director Sarah Matthews-DeMers in October.
Carclo said: "Below is a chartered accountant and a highly experienced interim finance director, with a strong track record of delivery in turnaround situations across a variety of industries in the publicly listed, private equity and family owned company environments."
Below joins plastic parts maker Carclo with immediate effect. He will join the board and become finance director "after a suitable hand-over period" once Matthews-DeMer departs. Below will take on the role on an interim basis during restructuring.
In August, Carclo disposed of an asset in its Wipac business and was still in talks to sell the entire loss-making unit. In the meantime, Wipac will refocus on low-volume, high-end vehicle markets.
Below was a director at both Celette Holdings Ltd and Parkside International Ltd when they were placed into administration.
Shares in Carclo are currently suspended and last closed August 1 at 10.70 pence.
