LONDON (Alliance News) - Caracal Energy Inc Monday said it has filed a preliminary short form
base shelf prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the Provinces of Canada, other than the Province of Quebec, meaning it can offer common shares, subscription receipts, warrants and debt securities up to an aggregate offering price of USD1 billion during a 25-month period.
The company said it had filed the forms to give it financial flexibility, but that doesn't mean it will issue any securities.
