Capital Lease Aviation Pays Down USD2M In Junior Related Party Debt To Secure Airbus Purchase

LONDON (Alliance News) - Capital Lease Aviation PLC said Tuesday it is paying down USD2 million in junior related party debt used to secure the purchase of an Airbus A321 last year.

The aircraft leasing company said on December 18 last year, that it has agreed to extend the leases of two of its Airbus A321-200 aircraft on lease with a major European airline. It said then, that the leases will be extended to February 27, 2021, and March 31, 2021, following the expiry of their respective current terms in 2015.

Shares in the company were trading 4.8% higher Tuesday afternoon at 16.50 pence per share.
