Capital & Counties Deputy Chairman Henderson To Retire In May

9th Feb 2016 15:48

LONDON (Alliance News) - Capital & Counties Properties PLC Tuesday said Deputy Chairman Ian Henderson will retire at the company's annual general meeting in May.

Capital & Counties shares were down 1.3% to 345.30 pence per share on Tuesday afternoon.

The AGM will be held on May 6, but Henderson will remain available to the company on a consultancy basis following his retirement, the company said.

Capital & Counties said it has also appointed Anthony Steains as a non-executive director starting on March 1. Steains is the chief executive of Comprador, a strategic corporate finance advisory firm based in Hong Kong, and has over 20 years of corporate finance experience.

"I would like to thank Ian Henderson for his significant contribution to the board since 2010, and for his support as deputy chairman and senior independent director. We are delighted to welcome Anthony Steains to the board of Capco. He brings corporate finance experience and a diverse and international perspective for the board, and we look forward to working with him," said Chairman Ian Durant.
