LONDON (Alliance News) - Capita PLC on Friday said it has agreed heads of terms of a contract to manage a 17,500 loans worth about EUR4.0 billion on behalf of Dutch co-operative lender Rabobank's ACCLM in Ireland.
The contract is worth an estimated EUR55.0 million to the FTSE 100 London-listed outsourcer over five years and will begin from the start of February 2016.
"This deal will enhance Capita's position in Ireland. The contract builds on Capita's existing and wide-ranging commercial debt-servicing capabilities across a range of industries," Andy Parker, the chief executive of Capita, said in a statement.
About 180 employees are expected to join Capita, which said it already employees more than 1,700 people in Ireland.
Shares in Capita were down 0.5% at 1,245.00 pence on Friday late morning.
