LONDON (Alliance News) - Capita PLC on Wednesday said it has been re-appointed to run a range of further education and training schemes on behalf of the Education Funding Agency.
The FTSE 100-listed support services company said the new contract is valued at GBP8.5 million and will run until 2018.
Under the contract, the company will run the Care to Learn financial support scheme, the Bursary Fund for Vulnerable Students and will handle professional and career development loans provided through the scheme.
Shares in Capita PLC were up 1.1% to 1,152.00 pence on Wednesday, one of the best performers in the FTSE 100.
