LONDON (Alliance News) - Outsourcer Capita PLC on Thursday said its Urban Vision joint venture with mid-cap construction company Galliford Try PLC has extended its contract with Salford City Council for a further three years to 2020.
The Urban Vision venture was formed in 2005 to provide technical services to Salford City Council. The extension will cover property, regulatory planning, engineering infrastructure and design and highway operation services.
The extension is worth up to GBP90.0 million in total for the joint venture, of which Capita will get total revenue of GBP60.0 million over three years.
Capita shares were up 0.3% to 1,078.00 pence, while Galliford shares were down 0.3% to 1,332.11p.
