LONDON (Alliance News) - Capita PLC on Wednesday said it has extended and expanded its existing customer management contract with an undisclosed telecommunications provider, for an additional four years to December 2022.
The outsourcing & professional services company estimates the contract to be worth GBP300.0 million.
Capita said it has been supporting an unnamed client in Germany since 2006 providing customer care, technical support & sales services to its business and personal customers.
As part of the renewed contract, Capita will expand the services it provides to the telecom partner, taking over the operation of three contact centres and 640 employees at the end of October.
"This extension and expansion is testament to the strength of our longstanding partnership and consistent delivery of outstanding customer management services for our client and their customers," said Capita Chief Executive Officer Jon Lewis.
Capita shares were up 1.7% on Wednesday at 132.00 pence each.
