Cambridge Cognition To Meet Full-Year Expectations As Half Year Ahead

2nd Jul 2014 08:50

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC Wednesday reiterated confidence in meeting full-year expectations, as it traded well in the first half of 2014.

The company said that its revenues for half year ended June 30 are expected to be around 25% ahead of the previous year at GBP2.5 million, up from GBP2.0 million. It also noted it had built a strong pipeline for its second half.

In its clinical trials division, Cantab solutions, recent contract wins have underpinned confidence in its strategy of focusing on drug characterisation and human abuse liability, it said.

Its Cantab research product has also seen a strong first half as the company targeted academic institutions. Additionally its mobile offering, Cantab Mobile, will have soon completed 10,000 patient assessments. The company will use the results of these assessments as part of a review to instigate the second phase of commercialising the product in the UK, it said.

Cambridge Cognition expects to announce its interim results September 11.

Shares in Cambridge Cognition are untraded Wednesday. They last traded at 52.45 pence.
