LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC Wednesday said it has opened a US office in Salt Lake City, to meet the growing demand from both existing and new customers in North America.
The company specialises in computerised neuropsychological tests, including those enabling the early detection of dementia.
In Wednesday's statement, the company said its US office will be headed by former Baxter and Myriad executive Bill Rusconi and will support the continuing use of its Cantab Connect range, but also increase the global reach of the company's emerging healthcare technology division.
The Cantab product is aimed at academic researchers seeking clinical measures of cognitive function in universities and research institutes. It allows researchers to collaborate with each other using the cloud technology included in the product.
"This is a central development for the company and highlights the company's strategy to target this market," the company said in its statement.
Shares in Cambridge Cognition were trading 5.2% higher Wednesday morning at 78.90 pence.
