LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambridge Cognition Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has launched CANTAB Insight, a medical application designed to assess the cognitive health of an individual in order to give quicker access to the right treatment and care.
The CANTAB system identifies the initial signs of clinically-relevant memory problems, and the new product will allow an in-depth evaluation of at-risk patients to detect the underlying signs of common mental health problems including depression, schizophrenia and dementia at an early stage.
The touchscreen assessment using the system has been CE approval in Europe and will be licenced to European public and occupational health markets. Evaluations can be conducted on an iPad in just 20 minutes, Cambridge Cognition said.
"With CANTAB Insight now providing full cognitive health assessments alongside CANTAB Mobile, our healthcare technology business is in a strong position for geographic expansion in 2016," said Steven Powell, Cambridge Cognition's chief operating officer.
Shares in Cambridge Cognition were untraded on Tuesday, having last traded at 88.00 pence.
