LONDON (Alliance News) - Cambria Africa PLC Friday said its Millchem specialised chemicals and machinery distributor has received several key regional supply and distribution agreements in countries including Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
In a statement, the investment company focused on southern Africa said Millchem is now the distributor for Sealed Air Corp in Malawi for its Diversey Care range of cleaning, sanitation and hygiene products. It is also now the exclusive distributor for London-based chemicals trader MEKZ Ltd in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia and Botswana, and exclusive distributor for South African lubricants maker Centlube in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi.
Finally, it is also exclusive distributor for Donau Carbon Corp in Southern Africa. Donau makes activated carbon, an environmentally friendly and recyclable product used in industries including mining and industrial cleaning.
"It is noteworthy that Millchem's role between Sealed Air and The Carlsberg Group, the first customer signed on in Malawi for these products, will significantly reduce the complexity of Carlsberg's supply chain, shortening their lead time from several weeks to 48 hours," Cambria Chief Executive Edzo Wisman said in a statement.
Cambria Africa shares last traded at 5.5 pence.
