Caledonian Trust Sells House In Edinburgh For GBP505,000

3rd May 2018 11:34

LONDON (Alliance News) - Caledonian Trust PLC said on Thursday it sold a property in Edinburgh last Friday for GBP505,000.

The semi-detached house on Brunstane Road South had been marketed by Knight Frank. It had been on the market since November 2017 and was sold for GBP45,000 more than its reported value, Caledonian said.

The trust said the money from the sale will be used to fund other development activities.

In addition to the sale the trust said it has drawn down GBP40,000 from a loan of GBP100,000 that had been agreed with Leafrealm Ltd in April. Leafrealm Ltd has provided the trust with an aggregate amount of GBP4.3 million over various different loan arrangements.

After the sale of the house the company said it does not "expect to need to draw further on this loan in the foreseeable future".

Caledonian Trust shares were higher 3% at 240.00 pence.
