(Alliance News) - Cadogan Petroleum PLC said Tuesday it has installed a new sucker rod pump at the Blazh 10 well in the Monastyretska licence in Ukraine, while the company continues with its application to convert Monastyretska into a production licence.
The oil & gas installed the new pump after the old one was removed due to not functioning correctly. The pump was used as a chance for Cadogan to record a pressure build up and a production log.
Based on the analysis of the build up, the well productivity index has decreased, while the production log confirmed the profile which was recorded in May.
In May, Cadogan tested the well on three different chokes. On 8/64, 10/64 and 13/64 inch chokes the well produced 98, 133 and 181 barrels per day respectively.
The well has been put on production at 185 barrels per day of oil, which brings the total production for the Monastyretska licence at 400 barrels of oil per day.
In addition, Cadogan said the application to convert Monastyretska into a production licence is currently following its due process, managed by the State Geological Service of Ukraine.
Shares in Cadogan Petroleum were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 5.36 pence in London.
