LONDON (Alliance News) - Cadence Minerals PLC noted Tuesday its Australian-listed investee Auroch Minerals Ltd being granted an exploration licence at its Torrens East copper project.
Cadence holds a 6.6% interest in Auroch.
The licence is for the western of the two tenements at the project. Cadence said it covers an area that is currently being drill-tested and contains a "likely extension".
Cadence said it is also continuing its "intensive" exploration programme at the Arden zinc project. The company said, during the past few months, its exploration team has completed detailed mapping and surface geochemistry sampling over large areas of the Arden tenement.
Shares in Cadence Minerals closed down 9.6% Tuesday at 0.14 pence each.
