LONDON (Alliance News) - Byotrol PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Sean Gogarty as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
The anti-microbial technology company said Gogarty has a wealth of experience developing and running branded consumer goods businesses. His recent roles were global chief executive of Unilever PLC's Baking, Cooking & Spreads division, and global category senior vice president for Household Cleaners.
"We are delighted to welcome Sean to the board of the Byotrol. He has a wealth of experience from his time at Unilever and has a strong record of developing leading global brands and strategies," said Chair John Langlands.
"His considerable experience in both executive and non-executive roles in a wide range of consumer facing businesses will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow and develop Byotrol," added John Langlands.
Byotrol shares were trading 8.5% higher on Tuesday at 2.15 pence each.
