LONDON (Alliance News) - Outsourcing and distribution company Bunzl PLC on Friday said it has made three further acquisitions in Brazil, Spain and New Zealand.
The FTSE 100-listed group said it has acquired Casa do Epi Ltda in Brazil, a personal protection equipment maker for the mining, construction and manufacturing sectors.
It also has bought Cemelim in Spain and ICB Cleaning Supplies in New Zealand, both of which distribute cleaning and hygiene supplies.
No financial details on the acquisitions were disclosed.
"The purchase of Casa do Epi is an important acquisition for our safety business in Brazil. The business has an excellent reputation and a broad customer base and will strengthen our market position in the state of Minas Gerais while Cemelim and ICB will add further scale to our cleaning and hygiene supplies businesses in Spain and New Zealand respectively," said Chief Executive Michael Roney.
