LONDON (Alliance News) - BT Group PLC will reveal its new mobile services for business customers next Thursday as it readies to re-enter the market ahead of a consumer launch later in the year.
BT pulled out of the mobile market in 2001 when its BT Cellnet division de-merged from BT, and relaunched in 2002 as O2.
However, last year BT bought up GBP190 million in 4G spectrum coverage in an Ofcom auction. In March, it switched its mobile virtual network operator agreement to EE Ltd from its previous provider Vodafone Group PLC. Under the contract BT customers can access EE's mobile services.
Next Thursday it will reveal the prices and packages available to business clients, as well as details as to how the new network will work.
Shares in BT were trading down 0.8% at 376.90 pence Wednesday morning.
