LONDON (Alliance News) - BT PLC said Monday that it had partnered with outdoor soccer centre owners Goal Soccer Centres PLC to introduce BT Sport and Wi-Fi to all 43 of its facilities in the UK.
Under this deal, BT Sport will now be shown free in all of Goals' facilities, and free Wi-fi networks will be available to its customers.
"We are proud to announce our partnership with BT. Our 130,000 weekly players will now be able to enjoy big screen sports action, compliments of BT Sport and get the latest score online with BT Wi-fi," said Chief Executive Officer of Goals Keith Rogers.
The wi-fi service will be rolled out at the facilities from April.
No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
Shares in BT were trading up 0.8% at 392.08 pence Monday morning. Shares in Goals were trading down 1.9% at 228.00 pence Monday morning.
