LONDON (Alliance News) - BT Group PLC Tuesday confirmed that it had inked a contract with EE Ltd to provide mobile virtual network operator services to its UK based customers and employees.
Under the multi-year contract BT mobile customers will be able to access EE's 2G, 3G and 4G services. Terms and financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
BT said it will carefully manage the transition from Vodafone Group PLC, its current UK MVNO provider, to EE in order to ensure a smooth changeover for customers.
Shares in BT were trading up 0.8% at 386.12 pence Tuesday morning.
