LONDON (Alliance News) - BSD Crown Ltd on Tuesday said its losses widened in the first half.
In a statement, the company said it made a USD23.3 million pretax loss in the six months ended June 30, compared with USD1.5 million in the corresponding half the prior year.
Revenue was up to USD41.1 million from USD16.0 million as its cost of sales increased to USD32.4 million from USD12.0 million, resulting in gross profit rising to USD8.7 million from USD4.0 million.
Operating expenses increased to USD32.3 million from USD7.6 million.
Shares in the company were flat at 17.50 pence on Tuesday morning in London.
