LONDON (Alliance News) - The Brunner Investment Trust PLC Friday said it underperformed against its benchmark in the three months to the end of August.

At the end of August, the trust's capital net asset value was 635.5 pence. Its total net asset value, including income, was 639.8p.
Its capital net asset value was 617.2p at the end of September, while its total net asset value, including income, was 622.7p.
The benchmark is: 50% FTSE All-Share and 50% FTSE World Index (ex UK, sterling).
Brunner Investment Trust shares were Friday quoted up 1.9% at 532.00p.
