(Alliance News) - Stockbroker finnCap Group PLC on Friday said it has appointed former Ladbrokes finance chief Richard Snow as chief financial officer.
Snow will take up his role in May, finnCap said, subject to approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
finnCap's current CFO Tom Hayward will concentrate of the roles of chief operating officer and managing director of Cavendish Corporate Finance, positions he took up in 2019. finnCap acquired advisory practice Cavendish in late 2018.
Snow has previously worked at the likes of Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Merrill Lynch, and Nomura. He has also served as head of investor relations at Vodafone PLC and bookmaker Ladbrokes, and served as acting CFO at Ladbrokes during its merger with Coral.
finnCap Chief Executive Sam Smith said: "The change of role for Tom and the appointment of Richard significantly expand the capacity of the management team at a key point for the group.
"Tom has been an integral part of finnCap's growth and was instrumental in the group's acquisition of Cavendish and subsequent initial public offering. We are very pleased he will continue to contribute as both managing partner of Cavendish and the group's COO with a specific focus on the group's operating infrastructure."

finnCap shares were untraded in London on Friday, last being quoted at 23.50 pence each.
