LONDON (Alliance News) - Soft drinks company Britvic PLC Thursday said it has appointed Matthew Dunn as chief financial officer, succeeding John Gibney, who will step down from the role after the release of the company's full-year results on November 25.
Dunn is currently CFO of South African Breweries Ltd, a division of London-listed SABMiller PLC, and had previously been CFO of SABMiller's Asia division.
Gibney will remain with the company until he retires in April.
"We are delighted to welcome Mathew as CFO and to the board. His significant experience in the international beverage sector and expertise in operational leadership will be very valuable as we continue to execute our strategy to pursue the expansion of our brands globally," Chief Executive Simon Litherland said in a statement.
Shares in Britvic were trading down 0.5% at 691.14 pence Thursday morning.
